Balancing work whilst studying can lead to a number of issues; from stress to time management struggles. Despite the potential challenges some students may face, the majority still continue to work.

We spoke with two ex-students, Amy Kelly and Rachel Gibson, who informed us why they felt the need to work, how it impacted their university experience, and whether they recommend it to current students. We also gained insight from a member of the University of Sunderland’s student support services, Andreea Nastaste, who gave student’s information on how to seek financial help from their universities. As a death enthusiast, and someone with a family who suffers from obesity and obesity related illnesses, Meena Green (your guide in all things dearth and burial) was thinking a lot about the difficulties that could occur with dying obese - especially now, with body positivity and health-at-any-size influencers popping up on her social social media feed.

Whether it’s a gory slasher, or a suspenseful thriller, the world of horror is as varied as it is terrifying. And, with a constant stream of films produced, it can be difficult to find the choicest cuts.

There are podcasts out there showcasing the highest quality horror, as well as new releases; they’re well-made, well-informed productions, by professional horror fans.

But this is not that, and we are not professionals. This is not new, this is not good, this is the worst of the worst - the bottom of the bargain bin - that is schlocky, goofy, just plain stupid horror.

We’ve got three awful nasties on the skewer for you today, and, let me tell you, they were suffering. If we never watch these movies again, good, because they’re terrible: Zombeavers, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, and Killer Sofa.
