The Saints start their 2026 football season this weekend with what will be a high intensity matchup at Detroit. The Saints will attempt to surpass the expectations this season and get one step closer to becoming a playoff team once again. In college football the 8th Ranked LSU Tigers take on a familiar in-state opponent. Meanwhile all across the Bayou Region other FCS and FBS teams will take on the top 25 as this shapes up to be a weekend packed with high quality matchups.
