This Podcast series will give you an understanding of why you matter, and why all people matter, and yes, we matter together.

You will be taught how to identify truth, remember love, and how to rid yourself of bad habits and behaviors that are hindering your progression mentally, emotionally, spiritually and physically. You will learn about Spots, what they are, and how they affect you and those you love. You will gain an understanding on how to remove your Spots.

Each episode in the series represents a Spot.  Spots are attributes and behaviors we are holding onto which are not of God, and as we hold onto these Spots, we are removing ourselves away from God. 

By removing our Spots and replacing them with attributes and behaviors of Jesus Christ, we start to become “like unto” Jesus Christ.  The only path back to God the Father is in and through Jesus Christ, so as we become “like unto Christ”, we are literally being brought back toward God enabling us to return back into his presence (John 14:6).

Let's get started.

An Account is a statement of conduct; this is the knowledge required. The Ability is the power or capacity to do or act in any relation, and this is the power to move forward; Account & Ability.

What does the word accountability mean to you? What are you accountable for? Your choices, your actions? And how does what you do impact others every day? It’s time to wake up. Every choice and every action DOES impact everyone with whom you come in contact with.

Consider this saying: what I say and do are the things that others remember, I am accountable for my words and my actions. The great changes that are taking place in the world, move me to change and choose each day to see the impact of my words and actions, and strive to be an influence for good in this chaotic world.

We often associate the term addiction with drugs, alcohol, overeating, or activities that take all our time, focus and energy. But did you know that an addiction is anything in your life that is keeping you from progressing or moving forward? Addictions are mental, emotional, spiritual and physical.

Addictions are Spots and these Spots keep us from seeing or beholding ourselves and others as God sees us. They cover us like a dirty windshield constantly trying to obstruct our views. We need to remove each and every Spot so that we can progress.

As you follow the steps outlined in this Podcast, your eyes will be opened to see yourself and to see others in a way that God sees us all (it's called beholding). You'll behold yourself and others in a whole new light.

Have you really ever stopped to think about the word Agency? What about the impact each decision you make has on the direction and outcomes in your life, whether those decisions are big or small, simple or complex.

Did you know that your agency can be taken away by your choices? You hear the word consequence used a lot; it's the result or outcome which follows the choices we have made. 

Agency is choosing who you want to follow.  Choosing good verses evil. Acting and not being acted upon. And by choosing good, we are binding ourselves to God.

Those around you may question the new “you” and ask, where is the person we used to know? Bring him / her back. Remember, darkness does not gravitate toward the light.

But in reality, every time you choose to listen and follow your decision to become unspotted, you change, and you begin to let the light of Jesus Christ into your life.

If you are sitting in misery you might think the only thing that will feed you or bring you peace or comfort is: food, alcohol, drugs, or sex; but that is wrong.

There is a beautifully simple way to overcome Eating Disorders. What you feed your spirit is what feeds your flesh. Your body will follow your spirit, so feed your spirit what you want to become.

What types of things are you feeding your spirit?

When you come upon someone speaking negative, turn away. Don’t get drawn into a negative dialogue, and don’t draw others into negative conversations. Work to eliminate them totally. You don't need to hold onto thoughts or feelings that will lessen the light and love of Christ which is in you.

There is a formula or equation for this and it is quite simple; here it is: Repentance + Faith + Atonement = Born Again.

If you’re not practicing any of the following: repentance, faith and using the atonement of Jesus Christ, then you won’t be reborn again!

We are taught to ask, to seek and to knock as shared in the book of Matthew in the New Testament: “Ask and it shall be given you, seek, and ye shall find, knock, and it shall be opened unto you.”

A fool is someone who lacks sense or judgment. If you really don’t believe in Christ, why would he open the door when you knock? Don’t be the fool, Christ has marked the way.

How do you stop complaining emotionally, spiritually, mentally and physically? Think before you let the complaints come out of your mouth.

Change your thoughts into moving forward in a positive way. Nothing of value is ever accomplished by complaining.

We speak often of the two great commandments in this Podcast series. Love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and love thy neighbor as thyself. Why are these so important?

As you focus on what you do have, you turn your attention toward God, you begin to love God and in turn, you become consumed by his Love. Your desire then turns to loving your neighbor even as you love yourself, and your time is consumed with what is best for your neighbor and yourself. You begin to recognize and focus on what is needed for good to prevail. Are you starting to see the simplicity of God’s words!

Have you heard the saying, “do as I say and not as I do?”

Be the change you want to see in the world. Christ said it well when he said, “Come follow me.”

We have the greatest example of forgiveness from our Savior, Jesus Christ, who is blameless. Remember, there is no pit so deep that God's love is not deeper still; God will give us the love to be able to forgive our enemies.

How do you stop from being spotted by blame, and how do you stop placing blame on yourself and others?

The answer is, forgiveness!

Too often, you don’t know what you have until it’s gone. You don’t know damnation until you face it.

Remember, Jesus Christ has already paid the price for each of these spots; he has paid for all the hate and all the anger, so that you can live with God again. Remove these spots so that you might continue to progress toward God.

Anger is a Spot that acts upon you so that you lose control, you lose your temper, and by so doing you are literally losing your free agency.

It may help to listen once again to the third Episode entitled Addictions. In that Episode we talk about “beholding” others. When you can look upon others and love them the way God sees and loves them, you won’t be annoyed or angry any more. The closer you get to God, the closer he can get to you.

Boasting can be found in all forms; mental, emotional, spiritual and physical. As spoken of by Christ, Let not thy left hand know what your right hand doeth (Matthew 6:3). Surely the opposite of boasting is to humble ourselves and show humility, and to consider others ahead of oneself.

If we acknowledge the example of Jesus Christ’s life, we come to understand that He has provided the very tools we need to have humility.

You may not see the correlation between the words adultery and kill; and you might even think it a contradiction that these two words would even be used together.

If a wife or husband steps out on the other, it is as if one kills the spirit or soul of the other. The one who steps away has given into lusts and was being acted upon, and wasn’t thinking of themselves, their spouse, or even of God. Which is why it is so important to remove these spots, so that you can begin to act and not be acted upon.

If you cave to these lusts, you are also stepping out and away from God mentally, emotionally, spiritually and physically.

If you transgress against God, you are acting adulterous toward him and in-turn, you are killing your spirit.

Think of a rock thrown into the water. The impact create a ripple effect that continue on and on. The effects of bullying ripple out and can be felt for many years and beyond. They effect whole families and groups of individuals.

Don’t let the adversary get hold of your heart. If you want God to quickly forgive you, then quickly forgive others.

So it is with Spots, they canker or corrupt us. They burrow deep into your soul and make it hard in some cases to remove. But with great effort and determination, you can remove these Spots that work to corrupt your soul.

Salvation is yours if you use the Atonement of Jesus Christ and remove your spots.

Damnation is yours if you don’t.

We have forgotten why we are truly here on this earth. Which is to love God and to love our neighbor as we love ourselves. To help one another return back to be with God.

Stop being idle; Stop doing nothing and not making good use of your time

Start moving; Start caring; Start doing

Start loving your neighbor as much as you love yourself

So how do you discern if a person is genuine and not false; especially a person to whom we are looking to for guidance and understanding.

Opposition will always point you away from and never toward God; for example: I love God but I hate my brother.

We can discern true or false teachers and leaders by the things they do and speak. Judge them by their fruits, for opposition will never point you toward Jesus Christ.

Darkness comes with a lot of Spots. If you sit in it for too long, you will be consumed by it.

You bring light into your lives by removing the darkness. That which is of God is light.

Pray for hearts to be softened; pray for the right words to say; pray for God to bless your effort and to stop the sadness that separates you from another.

Forgive and build the bridge to come back together. This is how you remove the spot of grudges.

To be wise in your own eyes is to be self-reliant and self-sufficient, refusing even God’s help. When we refuse God’s help we become the fool; this is what we are to learn from this.

Rely upon God and he will give you line upon line, here a little there a little. God wants us to succeed in this life. Remember God, that he is real.

Malice can be manifest mentally through manipulation, or spiritually in who you are desiring to follow. Malice can also be manifest emotionally and physically.

Hand it over to God even if God decides to do nothing.

To Advocate for another is an action, on behalf of another, meant to regain someone’s favor.

Jesus Christ is our Advocate with the Father. He is our redeemer. In other words, he is helping us regain favor with God.

So start keeping his commandments.

Do you have a little extra oil on hand for your lantern in case the wait is longer than expected (referring to the parable of the ten virgins as spoken of in Matthew 25)?

Don’t be the fool who knows who God is and yet denies him.

You either know who God is or you don’t.

Feigned words= simulated or pretended; insincere; to give a false appearance

Covetousness = desire for others material goods

This Spot is about wanting to get gain over someone else. Dishonesty and lying can take you so far and then make a fool of you. 

There are many people on this earth that are that foolish. Don’t be one of them.

Likewise, God uses trials to expose our weaknesses. He brings out or exposes our impurities and our Spots, as he brings the dross to the surface to be cast off. 

It is in these moments that we are actually being tried and proven worthy. Remember, God is always a giver of bread and never of stone.

So how do you counter those evil thoughts?

Here's how. Slow down, take the time to meditate, think, and ponder on thoughts of love, peace and truth. These are the words to counter evil thoughts.

The phrase too much of a good thing means that the quality of something is relative to its quantity. Even excellent things can seem terrible if they are used too frequently or exist in overabundance. 

Enough is enough and it always will be.

How do we gain the determination and courage to go on – or is there a stumbling block that you cannot face? 

In the Bible, David used a pebble, not a boulder, to defeat Goliath.  God is giving us the pebbles to defeat the Goliaths that stand before us.

But there is someone who does, it is Lucifer. Lucifer comes by way of lusting and money; he is the God of lust.

So what is the purpose of Popularity? It is to make someone feel less than they are; it is about secret combinations; it is to get gain.

Don’t go back to the old ways, but stay on the true and narrow path. Don’t let the Spots of addictions or abusing things hold you back and hold you from the path.

Food can be a drug; staying on your phone too long can be a drug; gossip can be a drug. Drugs are not just a substance.

Anything that takes you out of alignment and brings you down to a lower understanding is not of God.

There are different levels of Anti-Christ’s. There are some that ignore, some that deny and some that preach against Christ. So what is an Anti-Christ?

An Anti-Christ is anything that leads you away from Jesus Christ.

When the holy spirit directs you to do one thing an you do something else, you are contending against God.

The second relates to fighting but in a way you may not have recognized. We are literally fighting for God.

Just remember, you can’t serve two masters; either you’ll hate the one and love the other or hold to the one and despise the other.

We are all celestial souls having an immortal experience. The purpose of the Spots Podcast is to help you remember who you are.

Is a big lie worse than a little lie?

Does it really matter what size the lie might be?

A lie is a lie! The more we do it, the easier it is to grow the lie and even add to it. Each lie ever told, is like a stepping stone towards even greater lies. Not telling the truth becomes so distorted in one’s heart and mind, a person can no longer remember what story they had told to anyone. One becomes a prisoner to the lies one has used.

Don’t lie.

The cleansing power of repentance is how you prepare to become Spotless before God.

Repentance is about bringing you back into alignment with God so you can be at one with him.

No man can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will hold to the one and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and Mammon (Matthew 6:24).

Decide now who you stand with and choose to stand for Jesus Christ.

Love one another as God loves you.

What you watch is what you become.

Who you want to be is who you will become.

The declaration of independence states; “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."

You don’t use people, but you love them even when they are hard to like.

You always love them.

Stop the behavior of spending so much time, money and effort on yourself. Also, let others alone with your judging and criticisms.

For these things are not of God.

Replace fear with knowing. Knowing that God lives. When you are aligned with God, there is nothing to fear.

Let go of the things that are taking you away from God, and you will remove this spot of idolatry.  

Now, here is where the respect issue comes in for all of us. If God doesn’t respect or esteem one nation, or country, or people, or person over another, then we shouldn’t either.

When we do, we become stained with this spot.

Don’t take for granted the atonement of Jesus Christ. For it will be to your own detriment.

For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. So, who or what do you treasure? Is it Jesus Christ?

God does not tempt us, but the adversary does - mentally, emotionally, spiritually and physically.

We need to conquer temptation first mentally, before we can conquer the others, or we will slip. This goes for any addiction – first you have to overcome mentally.

Likewise, the adversary first has to tempt you mentally – in order to conquer you physically.

Knowing that God lives will give you the strength to overcome temptation.

If you don’t repent and remove your spots, then you are building walls around you which will ultimately become your own prison, to which you will become bound to, one brick at a time.

Jesus Christ prepared the way. Who are you going to follow?

You are not fighting the adversary, but God is. God will never leave us, but it is us who leave him. The way back to God is through repentance, this is his plan, so put your life back right with God.

Gossip is 99% truth and 1% false. The problem is that you end up holding onto the 1% false and don’t behold the 99% truth.

Don’t let the adversary fool you into holding onto the wrong thing. Bridle or restrain your desire to fall into this trap, of accepting and holding onto falsehoods, and cast off the false through repentance. You will feel a weight lifted from your shoulders as you do.

Think of it closer to home with your own life. When you don’t take care of yourself, you are in all actuality murdering yourself, or by definition, you are spoiling yourself.

Have you ever heard the term “equally yoked”? Like two oxen yoked together, the combined strength of both give them the power to manage the difficult tasks, which if tried alone, they would not succeed.

Who does this sound like to you? It is the adversary.

The adversary’s purpose is to take from you your free agency. Don’t let yourself be found trying to take from others their free agency through the trappings of guile.

But instead live your life with integrity, kindness and compassion. This will replace guile if you’re found with it in your lives.

When we are wronged, we have to remember that we were never given the “judgement card”; there is only one judge and that is Jesus Christ; it is only him that will judge each person.

Cast off the Spot of neglect by starting your day with Jesus Christ. Start with prayer; open the scriptures and read, if only a few verses

Keep Jesus Christ centered in your life. And when you do these things, no matter how hard your day, you are still moving forward and you will feel light come into your life.

So, what is the opposite of jealousy and envy and how does one overcome this Spot?

You overcome it through empathy and by loving your neighbor.

Every single time a people or nation has fallen, it is because of pride. Did you also know, where courage is, pride cannot exist?

Immoral behavior will separate you from God. So, if what you are doing is not right, do not do it. If it is not true, do not say it.

Immorality is when you turn to the world and not to God when you know he lives.

Sickness and affliction come from being spotted, and these spots come from opposition which lead directly back to Satan.

Removal of these varied spots will help us become stronger in all of the ways of health.

Remember the scripture found in 1 Peter 5:8: Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.

And devour he does; mentally, emotionally, spiritually and physically. He doesn’t hold back and he doesn’t care about the carnage left behind. If you are not 100% aligned with Jesus Christ, don’t even go to the party.

How do you leave the chaos, the violence, and wild disorder of rioting behind? You point yourself toward God and in it you will also find peace.

Service comes in so many shapes and sizes. Sometimes expected and most of the time when you’re not looking.

Open your eyes, and especially open your heart so you’ll see and know when an opportunity to serve stands before you.

The very definition tells us of someone who says flattering things that may be intended to deceive or to get gain above another whether mentally, emotionally, spiritually or physically.

This is the avowed purpose of the father of all lies, to deceive. In fact, as with all spots, this is the purpose of the adversary, to gain control over you.

Always remember that God’s purpose is to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man.

The way you live your life is who you are, testifying of who you follow. So, you are standing as a witness.

Who and what are you witnessing of?

To impair or destroy the quality or value of something; to strip or deprive; not pleasant or acceptable.

When we neglect to give thanks to God, we are spoiling or diminishing the blessing which God has given us.

If you feel “stuck” where you are in your life; if things don’t seem to change in your life; if you are not trying to progress, then identify things in your life you need to clean out and move forward on. Or else you will get what you worked for.

The changes that you begin to make will have an impact on you mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically.

It is a spot because money can be taken and used for the gratification and pleasure of man. Do you have a love of money and a mentality of getting rich, as in rich in the standard of the world. Or, are you seeking to get rich in God? There is a difference.

Have you laid up in store for God or for yourself?

When we hold these types of opinions, we tend to withhold from others. Even where there is one person that goes without, there will be found prejudice.

A tradition may be false, foolish, or follow a father’s traditions.  They may cause you to stop in place with no movement forward; you literally become chained to them.  Then there are some which last for centuries because truth allows these traditions to continue.

Sift through your traditions and sift through the truth so that you arrive at pure truth, not something that is false or foolish.

We hear the term endurance used often in many analogies especially sports. Endurance is the capacity of something to last or withstand wear and tear. When you replace the word "something" with "atonement", then endurance is the capacity of the atonement to last or to withstand wear and tear.

We are making the atonement last by casting off the burdens we are carrying.

How do you become “not poor”?

First = understand

Second = movement (or move)

As the scripture says, “faith without works is dead”. Start moving!

What if I told you this did happen to you, and you did shout for joy? You would probably say, when, and how?

Jesus Christ’s atonement made it possible for us to return to the presence of God. However, Lucifer wants us for himself and he will do anything to steal us away from our divine destiny. He has no intention of going without. He is continuously working to steal our virtue, our soul, and our body.

Little children know when their “free agency” is being trampled by another who wants to be in charge and as adults we know this too, and we don’t like it when someone is trying to control us.

Unrighteous dominion includes acting harshly towards another; this includes verbal or physical abuse.  The person acting this way does so out of gratification of pride, acclaim or vain ambition.

Unrighteous dominion emphasizes tasks and agendas over human relationships and it fails to honor the God given right of moral agency or free agency given by God to Men and Women.

The opposite of exercising unrighteous dominion is persuading by long suffering, gentleness, meekness and kindness. This is how you remove this Spot.

Shall = inevitable, it will be

Set = into a specified state or place

You = to do the will of God

Free = free from the grasp of the adversary

Truth will keep you free from the grasp of the adversary and in alignment with God.

And in truth you will be free.

Are there secrets you are trying to keep and live in? Would you like to stop the madness of that behavior and change to living in a world of truth and being honest?

You can remove the spot of secrets and unburden your life. Cast off these secrets which will only cause conflict and free your mind and conscience.

When did swearing and cutting people down become okay in society? The answer is, when society started to except false truths for themselves.

Consider the scripture found in Ephesians 4:29: Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

You become consumed in something, anything, other than loving the Lord.

Have you ever reflected on why Jesus Christ often referenced becoming as a little child? The key to removing vanity is humility.

Become someone that can be trusted; someone that is stable in all ways!

Emotional health: the best way to stay emotionally healthy is by communication; with a spouse, parent, child, friends, and especially communication with God.

Physical health: exercise regularly; practice moderation with your food and drink intake; your body will follow your spirit, so feed your spirit what you want to become.

Spiritual health: Jesus Christ can help us; the Atonement works in all areas of health.

Selfishness is being concerned excessively for oneself or one's own advantage, pleasure, or welfare, regardless of others.

Selfishness is the opposite of selflessness.

Nobody in this world is more important than anybody else. You may think you are….but then wouldn’t that be selfish?

People judge others based on false understandings, false information, and by false truths.

There are unrighteous judges across the land and they are filled with Spots. There is a reason why there is only one righteous judge who can give judgement; who is Jesus Christ.

Resist judging unrighteously.

Cast them off so you don’t have to suffer further.

As you learn how to recognize and remove your Spots, you take on a new position of helping others to navigate situations or obstacles which they would not normally be able to do. You in turn have become guides of truth and light.
