From a young age it felt as though my emotions were out of sorts. Thinking back it could have to do with the miseducation provided to us by our outdated education system. We’re taught the basics such as anger, joy or pain. But as we proceed down our respective avenues and wisdom becomes apart of our foundation, we stumble upon new feelings. I’ve found myself completely captivated by a persons personality. Having become completely enraptured in the conversation. It turns into something more than just a conversation. Everything in life is subject to change. Today we touch upon impermanence and the effect it has on our psyche. It’s a beautiful thing to consider. That as the years fly by, the people you supposedly knew evolve into someone different. Sooner or later the real you will come knocking on your door asking to be let out. It’ll scream for release from within, thats the real you looking for reprieve. I suppose that’s the next little nuance, everything falls apart to be remade whole. You start to realize what’s meant for you. Situations end and you’ll start to realize they crumbled for a reason. To teach us who, where and what we’re meant to become. That is until you delve deeper and take the time to figure yourself out. Eli and I both struggled with the delinquent disguise instilled in us by our surroundings. We were lost souls looking for our purpose, the one given to us before was detrimental. We struggled through our adolescent years to find ourselves right where we need to be. Now that things are falling into place, we’d like to speak on those struggles. To open ourselves up and show everyone our place in this world.

Shame, we all feel it and we sure as hell don’t talk about it openly. Let’s open ourselves up to the world and normalize talking about shame. These emotions tend to snowball if left unchecked. You’ll find yourself back in battle, having to combat these old enemies. We tend to make mountains out of mole hills, if you were able to conquer them once, you sure as hell can do it again. We’re here today to remind you all that these negative emotions only have a grasp on you if you allow them to take hold.
