The real meaning of the rainbow

Did you know that the rainbow has a great significant meaning?

The rainbow is actually a biblical symbol - a sign to mankind from God.

So I find it odd that the LGBTQ ++ community would use it as their banner. Is it just ignorance or is there something more sinister going on?

The Santa Maria (The Saint Mary) and Santeria Connection

When I was a Catholic, I was taught that the Virgin Mary, mother of God, was a saint in heaven. She was a quite powerful intercessor - carrying our prayers to Jesus and even answering our prayers herself.

Now that I have converted to a Seventh Day Adventist and I understand the state of the dead. The assumption of Mary into heaven is just that an assumption.

But even more concerning is the connection of the worship of saints to the worship of pagan gods in religions like Santeria. The connection of statues to demons as pointed out by former devil worshiper Tony Ramirez in this video. The connection of Catholicism to Islam in this in depth 1.5 hr video.

Guard your mind and seek God if you want the truth.

Staying Grounded in God

Staying grounded in God is going to look slightly different for everyone. There will be commonalities of course. But just as people are equipped or blessed with different gifts, your personal connection with God will be unique to you.

In scripture (book of Daniel) we can read about the 3 Hebrew boys who stood for God in Babylon. In Ellen G. White writings, Prophets and Kings chapter 39 is where this story is expounded; giving a biblical example of young men who stayed grounded in God.

In this episode I share with how I stay grounded in God in these times and how it is possible for you to do the same.

My experience in working for the SDA church

This episode covers 3 “events” that I would have worked for the SDA church which by extension doing God’s work. At this time I was the AY leader and just short of 3 years of being a baptized member of the church.

I was given positions in church before this but none really called for me to do a lot.

Association vs Alignment

A lot of Christians are afraid of being associated with the wrong things or the wrong people. But in all seriousness, we are all wrong because we are all sinners. Association is inevitable as we will have to be connected with people in our everyday lives. It is our alignment with the wrong things or wrong people that we should be wary of.

Christ was associated with the likes of tax collectors and prostitutes but He was never aligned with them. Therefore we mustn’t needlessly distance ourselves from people by fear of guilty by association as that has nothing to do with alignment.

The Word according to Matthew 24-25 for February 24-25 (2022)

In Matthew 24-25 God gives a Word that not only directly correlates in number but in value and in relevance.

Deep down in your heart you know the answer to the simple question: Who does Lucifer need to defeat in order to rule earth?

Sayings that came from the Bible : Am I my brother’s keeper?

Am I the only one who didn’t know this saying originated in the Bible?

And it actually dates back to earliest humans and their first 2 children and the unfortunate events that occurred between them.

Strangely enough I have never heard it used in the same context nowadays which masked how sinister it actually is.

A Christian told me there’s NO more forgiveness of sins

You heard that right. Another Christian told me that there’s no forgiveness of sins once you knowingly sin after being baptized. And you’re supposed to know better and thus do better and if you fail you won’t be forgiven. The text used to back this claim up is Hebrews 10:26. Since the Seventh Day Adventist church is studying the book of Hebrews this quarter (January-March 2022) I thought it only fitting to speak on this conversation I had with my supervisor on work about 2 years ago.

Two Testimonies (Travelling by Taxi) + Plans for the Podcast

I have two testimonies to share in this episode that occurred when I was travelling by taxi to church on Sabbath. In both instances I was unable to hear the person's verbal abuse clearly even though I was well within earshot. I honestly believe that it was the Holy Spirit impairing my hearing in order to protect me from both physical and spiritual harm.

The latter part of this episode touches on the future plans I have for this podcast.

I also give some insight into why I started this podcast in the first place.
