Kayaking...IN OUR BACKYARD!

We have lived on the Jordan River for 4 years, and kayaked many rivers, but never the one in our own backyard. It doesn't flow much, and the water is murky so we always wanted to go somewhere else.

I am so thankful we took the time to do this. This video is very special to our family now that we are saying goodbye to this home!!!

Tunnel Beach, a Lighthouse, and Sand Dunes

We had the BEST time exploring down the Oregon Coast. If you haven't been, you NEED to go. Some places we went are Cannon Beach, Hug Point, Cape Meres Lighthouse, Tunnel Beach, and Cape Kiwanda State Natural Area. My favorite little hike through the forest to the beach is Short Sands Trail in Oswald State Park.

Almost to Canada

A 2 hour road trip to the ferry terminal, 1 1/2 hour ferry boat ride, a day full of memories together on an island, then the ferry ride and drive back.

Wouldn't trade it for anything!

Secret Swimming Hole

We road tripped 13 hours up to Washington, which is quite a lot! We really debated pushing past our limits and going to see Mount Rainier on this one, for multiple reasons. I love this episode because it has a very common moment in it for our family; when we are debating to go what feels like the extra 10, or not.

We Woke Up at 4 am
