Alex's passion for mental health led her to co-found Sound Mind in the fall of 2019. She maintains an active private studio and is a mentor for the Chicago Musical Pathways Initiative. He received his Bachelors in oboe performance at Roosevelt University's Chicago College of Performing Arts and his Masters in oboe performance from the University of Houston. In addition to performing, Kevin is Development Coordinator with Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestras, an organization of which he is also an alumnus, and serves as a mentor with the Chicago Musical Pathways Initiative. Kevin is passionate about helping young musicians navigate the music world.</p><p>Dan Monte comes from a long line of Portuguese and Canadian musicians settled in Southeastern Coastal Massachusetts. He deeply enjoys collaborating with other artists, and can be seen blissfully playing Off-Broadway (J2 Spotlight Theatre Comp.), and accompanying Modern &amp; Improv Dance Classes (Rutgers University). Dan is also an avid composer of contemporary classical music, jazz, pop, and commercial music.
