She had noticed a lack of women over 40 not to mention 50 being portrayed positively in print, television, and social media. Our connection was instant, sparked by our shared passion for wellness, our love for both Australia and America (fun fact: Wendy splits her time between the two), and of course, our penchant for car karaoke after a few glasses of rosé (balance right?)</p><p>Wendy was 49 years young when she left a career in advertising and created her business <a href="https://www.goodbyecroptop.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Goodbye Crop Top</a> an online platform and essentially a  movement aimed at filling the void of positive representations of aging women in the media. She had noticed a lack of women over 40 not to mention 50 being portrayed positively in print, television, and social media. A self-proclaimed age-activist, Wendy's mission is to inspire women to embrace their authentic selves, and to recognize the power that comes with aging gracefully.</p><p>Wendy leads a community of empowered women who embody both style and substance and hosts a popular podcast ‘<a href="https://www.goodbyecroptop.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">cropped</a>'.
