I’m David, I’m 73, retired, and I’ve spent much of my working life around radio, broadcasting and microphones. These days, I still make podcasts simply because I enjoy making audio and telling stories.
In the first few episodes, I’ll take you through the basics of getting started: finding something to talk about, becoming comfortable with your own voice, making your first recording, choosing equipment, editing and eventually publishing your first podcast.
After that, we’ll simply talk about podcasting — microphones, storytelling, interviewing, ideas, mistakes, things I’ve learned and whatever else seems worth discussing.
There’s nothing to buy and no complicated formula to follow.
Just one retired podcaster talking to another about how enjoyable making a podcast can be.
