Feeling successful is connected to setting realistic and incremental goals for your life. Big dreams are awesome, but only if put the in their proper place - as ideals. Measure your success based on how far you've come and get clear on what's in your control and what's not to feel more joy in your daily life. </li><li><strong><em>You don't have a clear vision for your life:  </em></strong>Happiness only comes when we achieve the unique things that bring us fulfillment. To understand what those things are, we have to spend time reflecting and getting clear on what we actually want. Once you have a clear vision for your life, it gets a lot easier to make it a reality. </li><li><strong><em>Your vision for your life isn't your own. </em></strong>It's easy to look at people you admire and copy their approach to try to find happiness.
