I've been intentional about writing upbeat songs to lift your spirits. At the same time, I recognize that there are times when we don't need a cheerleader. We need connection and for someone to say "I've been where you are and you're ok." This is my attempt at writing that song.

My jiu-jitsu coach is regularly reminding me to breathe because I'm unknowingly holding my breath while trying to execute a move. We can all use a reminder.

My Contentment is not Complacency

The Hustle and Grind life isn't for everyone. It's not for me. As I scroll through social media, sometimes I question my contentment with where I am in life.

Am I having too much fun? Should I being do more? Should I scale my business? How much money am I leaving on the table? Am I lazy compared to "Betty Big Business"?

This doesn't mean that we don't go through periods of hustle and grinding it out. I've worked hard to get where I am. This isn't a judgement on those that are living that life. I wish them the best in building their empires. This just isn't the life for me and I'm choosing not to feel guilty about it.

How is not the Hurdle

I've found that "HOW" is not the hurdle that keeps me from bringing a project to life.

Once I start taking steps to figure out the "how", the resources, guides, or teachers seem to just magically show up. When I'm struggling to get a project going, there is usually some story that I've made up in my head that is really what is keeping me from moving forward.

Once I get past that and start taking steps toward my goal, it gets easier to build momentum and everything falls into place.
