A super smart but lonely girl, Izzy doesn’t know where she fits into life. She avoids the popular kids at school that she calls the Phoneys, and has such a terrible temper, she’s given it a name: the fuzziness. With a furious temper, mysterious visions of the future and a missing dad, it’s no fun being Izzy Latimer.She’s too scared to make friends and doesn’t want to stand out, yet she knows she’s special.

On her 13th birthday, she’s gifted a mysterious pocket watch – a Tumble Thunder – and her life is changed forever.

Can she complete the Tumble Thunder, find her dad and escape the clutches of the murderous Time Shadow in order to realise her true destiny?

 

Stu has worked across the north of England in various media roles in a career spanning more than 20 years – from the Grimsby Telegraph to some of the biggest sporting events in the world in a career at BBC Sport.


At BBC Children’s he oversaw the UK’s biggest multi-platform operation for under 12s, leading everything from Newsround, Bedtime Stories and TV and iPlayer for CBeebies and CBBC.


He now runs his own successful media company and has worked with clients such as Chelsea FC, British Cycling, Birmingham 2022 and Sunset & Vine.
