Netta Nicosia is one of the creators of the Lion Roar Beach Clean Patrol; a beach cleanup for Hollywood Beach, Florida.

Volunteers are set to meet every month to continue picking up trash in their effort to keep our environment litter free.

She shares a personal story of why she decided to bridge a relationship with Kids of Love.

This passion project was possible because of the support of the Hollywood Lions Club.

The kickoff charity brought in over $9,000 in funding to help kids with cancer. Volunteers cleaned up 1,601 pounds of trash and 192 pounds of plastic. Also, 65 pairs of glasses and 155 pairs of show were donated to the clean up.
