God grants our desires beyond what we imagine!
Novitiate as "The School of Jesus Christ; The School of Happiness" - Mother Rivier
How does God call? In the stuff of our lives.
Listening for the call is being attentive to what is happening around you. The Lord is forming you to make a future commitment.
We need to "listen to our lives" as God works in the present.
Ask the Lord for help, He will put people in our lives that will open the door to our vocation - it is the treasure box in the field! It's worth everything! - Matthew 13:44
Never be afraid to ask the question to young people, "Do you want to be a sister/priest, etc?" - often, they are looking for someone to talk to about it!
Be attentive to our desires; do they bring what we want them to bring? "Where your heart is; there is your treasure." Matthew 6:21

Unveiled is officially live, and we can’t wait to take you along for the ride! This casual chat is all about getting to know your hosts, Jacinta & Claire, and Junior Producer, Pax, and the vision behind the podcast. We’re here to explore discernment in a fun, relatable way, and we’re thrilled to have you with us! You’ll hear us share our personal stories, our likes and dislikes (spoiler: Claire isn’t a fan of cheese or leggings), and what led us to create Unveiled. It’s all about connection and community as we dive into the lives of inspiring women who have walked the path of discernment.

Our initial idea was to host a nun run to learn more about discernment and religious life on the way to celebrating the vows of Sr. Maryam Josephine of the Child Jesus from the Queenship of Mary. We soon realized that a podcast would allow us to expand our goal and reach so many more people!

We want to explore the different religious orders, what makes each one unique, and how they contribute to the world. We’ll be asking all the burning questions, like how to find the right order and what it’s like to live a life of service. Hopefully, we can foster a fun community and spark curiosity about the world of religious life and discernment.

As we wrap up this intro, we’re looking ahead at the incredible conversations we’ll be having in future episodes. Whether you’re just tuning in out of curiosity or are actively discerning your vocation, we hope our conversations will resonate with you! Our ultimate goal is to maybe even aid someone in discovering their vocation and spiritual home!
