The discussion of this week ranges from how God "places" us into rest just as Adam in the Garden of Eden or the Israelites in the Promised Land to the prayer of Christ that we would be one with Him just as He is with the Father. All in all it falls to one place--Jesus is the ultimate source of our rest! Yet, there is so much depth to how Jesus desires for us to come into that rest with Him and it is a delight to ponder!

Key Scripture: Genesis 2:15, Exodus 33:14, John 17:20-24,

and Matthew 11:28-30.

Have any questions, comments, or thoughts? Jacob here. I though it was important that I share a testimony of my life and how Jesus has been working in me for the last 21 years. My heart for WVR is that it would accurately portray the heart of Christ and His love through conversation and I strongly believe that part of that is not being afraid to share and be open about life and its ups and downs. In our weaknesses Christ is strong and He is glorified in the sharing of our testimonies as believers!

In this episode my desire is that it opens some of my life to you all and in the Spirit of Jesus creates a place where there is no shame or condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus! This episode does contain some blunt and open conversation of sexual bondage that was in my life (nothing detailed or extensive). With that being said, I believe it is edifying and encouraging as I kept it vague and in general with a mixed audience in mind. This was something that couldn't be ignored or skipped over as it is truly where the Lord has grown me and transformed me the most in my walk with Him!

I hope you all enjoy the heart and spirit of this episode and feel encouraged to press further into Christ and pursue a relationship with Him.
