ABOUT SHARI

Born and raised in the Bronx, NY, she switched up her stomping grounds for Raleigh, NC bringing the Nasty North to the Dirty South to show them what they’ve been missing. As the only Latina Comic in North Carolina, her crossover appeal, crowd working skills, and clever style has quickly built a platform and a diverse following ranging from Hipsters to moms screaming for a night out. With all the positive feedback, she founded Boogie Down South Productions as an avenue for local comedians to collaborate and bring forth gut wrenching shows. Her accolades include opening for one of the original Latin Kings of Comedy, Joey Medina, in Raleigh and NYC. In addition, she has set the stage for BET Comic View comedians Kenny Williams and Anthony “AD” Demmer, MTV’s Wild N Out- Shawty the Comedian, Reginald “Bruh Man” Ballard from the hit TV Series “Martin”, and Def Comedy Jam’s Tony Woods.​She is also the founder, creator, and co-host of her podcast, UN_FILTERED, on SoundCloud. Shari believes in paying it forward and mentors youth-at-risk kids in the foster care system who have an interest in comedy.

In 2019, she moved back to NYC to pursue comedy where she has been booked consistently on some of the hottest comedy shows in the NYC and produces comedy shows all over the city. Shari is also the co-host of Tres Betches Podcast, alongside co-hosts Trina Alper and Jessica Clayton.

Her accolades include opening for Joey Medina, Gina Brillon, Pauly Shore, Michael Yo, Carlos Mencia, Godfrey, Mark Viera, The Lucas Bros, Shawn Wayans and Maria Bamford. Shari has been performing at comedy festivals around the country, such as, North Carolina’s Comedy Festival 2018 & 2019 in Greensboro, NC, Big Pine Comedy Festival 2018 in Flagstaff, AZ where she won “Best of Fest”, BTF Comedy Festival in Philly 2019 and Dallas Comedy Festival 2019, and DC’s Comedy Festival 2019, and New York Comedy Festival 2019. ABOUT BRITTANY

Brittany Brave is a NYC-via-Miami based comedian, actress, writer, producer and host. She’s been featured on NBC, MTV, OFTV, The Wendy Williams Show, SiriusXM and more. Brave was selected as a 2024 “Comic To Watch” at the New York Comedy Festival. In 2023 she was named “Best Comedy Act” by TimeOut Miami and the Miami New Times, and in 2019 the TBS Network featured her as “Emerging Talent”.

Her unique brand of equally-animated and cerebral comedy has landed her features in The New York Times, ELLE, Ashton Kutcher’s A-Plus, Entrepreneur Magazine and more. For Brave, what audiences see isn’t always what they get – and that’s just how she likes it. From personal anecdotes about her Italian family, to survival stories from dark relationships, her comedy is a self-proclaimed sermon for the “girls, gays and theys” and IF the straights enjoy it, she declares, “welcome to the TED talk”.

An experienced performer who first took the stage at 3 years old, Brave has studied at the world’s premier comedy schools such as UCB, Second City, iO and The People’s Improv Theater. She also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theater and Dance Performance from the University of Florida in 2013.

In 2022, Brave starred in “The Disastrous Dating Life of Diane Damone”, an original web series created by Amerikana Media and Joseph Patrick Conroy that chronicles the dating snafus of a neurotic, hopeful, single, Italian girl in NYC. The production debuted on Tubi to rave reviews and the two are currently developing season two of the series.

Brave is an active and open advocate for women’s rights, reproductive freedom and domestic violence. She started the community “Cat Call”, which produces all-female and queer content and events, including “The Bad Bitch Brunch”, a touring variety show that features stand up, drag, music and interactive games in a jam-packed, empowering, sex-positive 90 minutes. Last year, her “Roast of P. Diddy” made national news thanks to a celebrity drop-in from famed hater 50 Cent. The show and efforts raised $8000 for the National Domestic Violence Hotline and garnered the attention of national media, including TMZ.

In 2024, Brave made history as the first local comedian to perform and sell out the Carnival Studio Theater at Miami’s esteemed Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts. As the host of the “Big Yikes” podcast she releases weekly episodes. She is also in post-production for a docu special about Miami comedy titled “Muchacha” due out in 2025. ABOUT CHRIS

Chris Riggins is a standup comedian based in Los Angeles, California. Chris first caught notoriety in the comedy community when he won the San Francisco International Comedy Competition and becoming a regular in the Punchline Comedy Club circuit. Now residing in Los Angeles, he’s become a paid regular at the World-Famous Comedy Store, Hollywood Improv, and has become a continuing feature act for the greats like Dave Chappelle. His comedic style, characterized by clever observations and fearless commentary, challenges his audiences to think outside the box as he delivers his unique perspective on life. Before cutting his teeth in comedy, he found success in the Oakland music scene, where he was an MC with a world class jazz band named Mingus Amungus and attained a social circle with the likes of Mos Def, Talib Kweli, and many others. It was through his love for both artforms that led to the creation of his jazz-comedy fusion show, “SMOKIN’ JOKES.” In addition to his live performances, Riggins recorded his first comedy album "My Fifth First Album" with Blonde Medicine in 2021, further establishing himself as a force in the comedy world. Most recently, Riggins was a featured comedian at the prestigious 2024 Netflix Is A Joke Comedy Festival.

KEEP UP WITH ANTHONY

Anthony Moore is a comedian and writer hailing from West Philadelphia, now residing in the New York area. While working toward a bachelor's degree from Saint Joseph's University, at age 18, Anthony was recruited to host the school's talent show. It was at this point, Anthony realized he had a true gift for humor and a strong passion for comedy. 

Soon after, he quickly became well-known in Philadelphia's comedy circuit. Anthony was selected by Hartbeat Productions to represent the city’s comedy scene on Kevin Hart's Comedy Central show, Hart of the City. 

After making a name for hisself in his hometown, Anthony made the transition to New York becoming a regular at the world famous Comedy Cellar performing alongside top comedians such as Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle. 

Anthony has been invited to the Just for Laughs comedy festival in Montreal to film for Kevin Hart's LaughOutLoud network. More recently, Anthony made his Netflix acting debut on Shane Gillis’ sitcom Tires and also been featured on HBO twice on Game Theory with Bomani Jones. You can listen to Anthony weekly on his podcast We Want Moore. This rising star is looking forward to a promising career in entertainment.

About RALPH

Ralph Anthony is a New York City based comedian and writer whose material is primarily derived from his stories and unique observations of the world we live in. A high energy goofball with lots to say, Anthony was deemed “the Mouth” by his childhood friends and hasn’t stopped making people laugh since. 

Still, a lot has changed from his younger days in upstate NY, but Anthony's keen point of view and likability allow him to connect with audiences on a variety of subjects all over the world. 

He's traveled overseas to Europe where he’s performed at some the top shows and clubs in London and Paris. About MARCELA 

Marcela is a stand-up comedian and writer based in Brooklyn. Marcela is the founder of Feel the News, a news destination with a sense of humor and anarchy. Marcela was born in Kenya and moved to Texas when Marcela was twelve. It’s there that Marcela learned that y’all was a real word. Marcela moved from Texas to DC with hopes of changing the world but Marcela quickly became disillusioned by politics and sought comedy as an opportunity to discuss serious topics and frankly just complain about how terrible everything is. Marcela was the runner up in the 2021 Ladies of Laughter stand up competition. Marcela's pilot “Trying to Live” was a second rounder in the 2021 Sundance Episodic Lab and a semifinalist in the 2021 BlueCat screenplay competition. Marcela has been featured in the Black Women in Comedy Festival and The Laughing Devil Cup Festival.

Dria Curtwright is an up and coming Brooklyn based comic that’s performed at venues all over the northeast, including The Stand, New York Comedy Club, and The Comedy Studio. In 2023, she performed at the Black Women in Comedy Festival and featured at Vermont State University for their Week of Welcome. She was also a semifinalist in New York Comedy Club’s Comedy Roast Battle tournament in 2023. Since moving to Brooklyn, Dria has made a name for herself by producing Heated Comedy and Cortelyou Comedy, comedy showcases that celebrate and uplift women and BIPOC voices in standup.

Born and raised in the Bronx, Petey DeAbreu brings something fresh to the world of comedy that has not been seen since the golden age of New York city entertainment. Bringing down the house wherever he hits the stage, Petey has most recently toured with Broad City’s Ilana Glazer as well as performed at Comedy Central’s Clusterfest. Dylan Adler is a comedian, actor, writer, and musician based in NYC and LA. He was recently a writer on the Late Late Show with James Corden where he also performed Stand Up and was a Sports Correspondent. He recently performed stand up on Comedy Central and was named a Comic You Should and Will Know by Vulture Magazine. He has also performed in the New York Comedy Festival as a Comic To Watch . His show with Kelly Bachman Rape Victims are Horny Too with Kelly was written up by Paste Magazine and ranked #2 in Paste Magazine's 12 Best Comedy Albums of 2022 . He formerly performed as a sketch actor on Maude Night at UCB. He's also the co-composer of the musical Good Morning New York that played Off-Broadway.

Announced as one of Just For Laugh Festival’s New Faces 2023, Aminah Imani is a stand-up comedian, host, and actress from Atlanta, GA who lives and performs regularly in New York city.
