Larry has been a sole practitioner in the Philadelphia 5 county area and has served as a judge pro-tem and arbitrator for the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas. Currently, he is the executive manager of the International Council for Men and Boys. His past experience includes volunteering for the Support Center for Child Advocates, serving as a board member and board secretary for Comhar, Inc. (a non-profit serving special needs clients), teaching Mock Trial with the Pennsylvania Bar Association, and being a custody mediator. He also operates The Law Center YouTube Channel, a free video library for self-represented litigants in family court. 

Larry’s passion is to reduce the trauma for families who have sustained a catastrophic loss or injury, and who undergoing the pain of separation, especially for innocent children. Larry underwent a 10-year custody and support battle involving his own child and he experienced the vulnerability of parents in the family law court system firsthand. He understands that parents must not only protect themselves from scorned lovers but also from a financially motivated legal system that exploits the parents.

Grieving over the loss of a child has to be one of life’s most painful experiences. Grieving over a lost child who’s still alive but wishes you were dead - - - well, at least there’s hope. Please never forget that.

Theresa Godly, like so many of us, has had her relationship with her child ripped away. Only instead of sitting back and accepting her fate, instead of dragging her child through endless court custody battles, she’s chosen to attach the real issue.

One saving grace in Justin’s show is that no kids were involved. That said, you’d think his divorce would be easy and over. Well, he probably wouldn’t be on Why Daddy Never Cries if that was the case. It's hard to defend yourself when your ex takes everything you shared and even harder when she keeps everything that wasn't. However, instead of curling up in a ball, Justin is using his pain to help others.

Domestic Violence Organizations started as a much-needed avenue to protect people from evil. Unfortunately, you'll need money to keep that support going, and money can easily corrupt.

It’s easy to sour on an industry when you’ve been wronged, especially for the falsely accused. It’s easy to disregard anyone or anything associated with that industry.

Trust and Integrity: False accusations of a crime strike at the core of trust and integrity within a relationship. Holding my father’s hand as he lay in a hospital bed this week alerted me to a different pain parent alienation and false allegations bring.

No one holds your hand when you’re old and scared.

So, if you haven’t spoken to a parent in a while, with what little time we have on this planet, does it matter why you stopped or rarely talk?

If you are at the “maybe it still matters” level, consider reaching out to them. At least you tried, and not all alienated parents know what a podcast is, so they don’t know the end to silent domestic violence is coming, and DV perpetrators and facilitators will be held legally accountable.
