Jordan “BBZ” Drummond has been a mainstay in the world of poker for over 15 years. Born on December 29th, 1983, in Vlissingen (Netherlands), Lex developed an early love for computer games when his uncle gave him a NES for his 5th birthday. During his teenage years, he discovered StarCraft: Brood War, where he met friends like Victor Goossens, founder of Teamliquid.net.

After finishing middle school and starting criminology at Erasmus University in Rotterdam at age 20, Lex discovered poker during the poker boom following Moneymaker’s WSOP win. Starting with $10 from online friends, he quickly advanced to the highest stakes both online and live. In 2009, he signed a contract with PokerStars and traveled the world playing poker, featuring in shows like High Stakes Poker and The Big Game.

In 2013, Lex transitioned from PokerStars Team Pro to PokerStars Team Online, achieving Supernova Elite status for three consecutive years. With the rise of poker on Twitch, Lex began streaming in 2015, becoming the platform's top poker streamer for eight years straight. Jonathan Jaffe has taken the poker world by storm for nearly a decade. Oleg Ostroumov is a mathematician and a poker player who created the world’s first No-Limit Hold'em solver in 2013 and a Triple Draw solver in 2014, which calculated Nash Equilibrium (also known as GTO strategy) for those games. Oleg then partnered with a group of elite players—including Trueteller, Alex ‘Kanu7’ Millar, RaulGonzalez, and Daniel Cates—and played a pivotal role in their rise to prominence.

He previously dropped out of college to play poker professionally full-time.

Igor Kurganov is a Russian-born poker player with over $18 million in live tournament cashes. Kurganov has a WSOP gold bracelet from a win in the 2017 $10,000 Tag Team Championship with his partner Liv Boeree.

Kurganov studied math in Munich before he became a professional poker player. His top scores include million dollar finishes in high roller events at EPT Monte Carlo, as well as a victory in the Super High Roller at PokerStars Championship Barcelona in 2017 and a final table run at the GuangDong Asia Millions Main Event in Macau in 2013.

As of late, Kurganov is more known for his organization, Raising for Effective Giving (REG) founded in 2014 by the pair and his ties to Elon Musk. The organization strives to empower people to make better giving choices by promoting the idea of effective giving, providing donation advice to individuals and organizations, and supporting fundraising campaigns and events.

Steven Jones is an American poker player based in Scottsdale, Arizona. He is best known for his final table run in the 2023 World Series of Poker Main Event. Jones entered the final table of the 2023 Main Event second in chips after a run of good on Day 7 put him among the leaders. He managed to maintain that performance through Day 8 and 9 of the 2023 WSOP Maine Event, reaching the final three with a significant chip lead over his two remaining opponents.

Nikita Luther is a professional poker player from India with more than half a million dollars in live tournament cashes.

Luther can be seen on the first season of GGPoker's Game of Gold, a poker reality competition on the GGPoker YouTube channel.

Through her career, Luther has won one WSOP bracelet in the 2018 WSOP Tag Team Event with her teammate Giuseppe Pantaleo. She also made deep runs in the 2021 WSOP Tag Team Event (15th - $2,288), the 2019 WSOP Bracelet Winners Only Event (13th - $3,584), and the 2018 $3,000 No Limit Hold’em Event (17th - $18,495). Benny Glaser is a British poker player. Over the course of his career, he has won five World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelets and amassed over $7 million in live earnings. In 2022, he also finished second in the WPT World Championship at Wynn for $2.8 million.

He has also won 24 SCOOP and WCOOP titles on PokerStars making him the holder of the most titles all time. He is widely renowned as one of the all-around best British poker players.

With over $2,200,000 in tournament winnings and millions more in both live and online cash games, Alec Torelli is one of the most respected poker players in the industry today. Alec began his career playing in live home games with friends, and quickly moved to playing online under the name ‘traheho’. Chris Moneymaker is one of the most well-known ambassadors in the world of professional poker. In 2003, Chris won the Main Event of The World Series of Poker (WSOP). His win was so inspirational, and exceptional, that he is often regarded as the player who helped professional poker grow into the worldwide phenomenon that it is today. Chris is from Nashville, Tennessee, and at the time of his win he had worked as an accountant and a part time restaurant employee. Nicholas Rigby is an American poker player who rose to notoriety by playing "The Dirty Diaper" during the 2021 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event. A Pittsburgh native, Rigby learned to play deuce-three offsuit, The Dirty Diaper, in his home games and at his local casino. "We just always referred to it as the Diaper, so (I) just kind of ran with it last year once I started (playing it). I wasn't getting aces, so I had to start playing two-three like I had aces," Rigby told PokerNews in 2023. After finishing 52nd in the 2021 Main Event for $136,100, Rigby returned to the 2023 WSOP and took the Main Event by storm with his Dirty Diaper. His loose-aggressive style earned him the Day 1d chip lead and he managed to finish second in chips on Day 2d. Vanessa Selbst is an American former professional poker player with more than $11.9 million in career earnings. She is one of only three female poker players to have won three WSOP bracelets (Barbara Enright and Nani Dollison) but is the only player to have achieved this feat only in "open" events. Kara Scott is a Canadian-born poker personality, host, presenter, commentator and player who has travelled the world with poker. After years of proving herself as both a poker player and presenter, in 2016, Kara became an 888poker Ambassador. In 2019, Kara partnered with 888poker to launch The Heart of Poker Podcast. Jon Van Fleet joined the Americas Cardroom team in early 2021. The Austin, Texas native is no stranger to the world of online poker. Jon made a name for himself during the original online poker boom of the 2000s under the nickname ‘apestyles.’ Just ask anyone who played online back in the day, and they’ll tell you all about his inimitable playing style. Jose "Nacho" Barbero is an Argentinian poker player and WSOP bracelet winner. A former PokerStars Pro, Barbero has enjoyed a long poker career, from winning a European Poker Tour London £20,000 High Roller as far back as 2010 and finishing fourth in the 2023 PokerStars Players NL Hold'em Championship for $1,551,300 — the largest cash of his career. Nick Petrangelo is an American poker player from Massachusetts who has earned two World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelets and amassed more than $29 million in live tournament earnings, putting him first on the state's all-time money list. Petrangelo, whose first cash dates back to 2009, earned his biggest score to date at the 2018 WSOP, where he took down the $100,000 No-Limit Hold'em High Roller for $2.9 million. The same year, Petrangelo finished third in the WSOP's $50,000 No-Limit Hold'em High Roller for $720,103, proving himself to be a true crusher in the high roller fields. Petrangelo earned his second-largest career cash in October 2021 when he took down a $200,000 Aria High Roller tournament for $1.5 million. His hot streak continued into the next year and, in January 2022, Petrangelo took down the a $100,000 event at the PokerGO Stairway to Millions for just over a million. He has also had success at the World Poker Tour (WPT), including winning a title by taking down a $3,000 WPT Online World Championship event in 2020 for $494,550. With four seven-figure cashes to his name to date, Petrangelo has established himself as one of the best poker players on the tournament scene today. For Mustapha Kanit, the encounter with poker was made during adolescence. From as early as ten years old, the Italian-Moroccan was already passionate about another major 21st century card game - Magic: The Gathering: After an invite to a poker game from his friends where Mustapha beat them hands down, he was hooked. Mustapha packed his bags and tested Europe's poker destinations at a very young age, winning his first successes in Malta, Barcelona, Madrid and Cannes; better still, the one who had been a rather shy teen discovered his true nature at the table, one of a jovial competitor, curious of others, not lacking in the right words, a catalyst for lots of laughter. His victory in Nova Gorica's Italian Poker Tour tournament in March 2011 made him known to players in his own country, before the European pros discovered his talent six months later, in the Partouche Poker Tour final. But it must not be believed that Mustapha ascended to the heights without any pitfalls. After losing everything at 21, undiscouraged, Mustapha held his head high and continued the work of learning. It was also at this point that he was be transformed into a real specialist in multi-table tournaments. Mustapha's work was soon to bear fruit: his creativity developed at the tables, and the results made his bankroll swell again. Then came 2015, the most successful year of his young career (until now!), the one that was to see him plant his flag on the summits of professional poker. Over the course of 12 magical months, Mustapha was to win two of the biggest online poker tournaments, the SCOOP and the FTOPS, for a total of $1.5 million, and then triumph at Monte Carlo in one of the most difficult tournaments of the year, the Super High Roller, at €50,000, and win the Barcelona EPT High Roller three months later. One year later, in April 2016, Mustapha repeated his success with Monte Carlo's Super High Roller, with an entry price doubled to €100,000, adding another €1.462 million to an already very profitable track record. By the time of becoming the first Italian pro on team Winamax, Mustapha Kanit was already firmly established in the very closed circle of high rollers. Nine years after his debut, the jovial Mustapha leads his country's players in the Hall of Fame, having surpassed the $9 million profit threshold in his live career in 2017, to which more than $4.5 million won online must be added. He belongs to a rare species: that of players very difficult to beat, but, when arriving at the table, still welcomed with pleasure.

Ben Heath is a British poker player and WSOP bracelet winner with over $12.5 million in career earnings. He studied mathematics at the University of Warwick and graduated with a BSc in 2013.

His bracelet victory came back in 2019, winning the $50,000 High Roller for $1.48 million.

"When I was younger, I was shy and didn't really want to win the bracelet," he told PokerNews. "I would have rather just taken second place. But now that it has happened, it feels great!”

In 2021, he narrowly missed out on a second bracelet after finishing second in the WSOP $250,000 Super High Roller to Adrian Mateos. He still walked away with over $2 million, the largest cash of his career.

Scotland's top tournament money winner, the man known to most as 'Firaldo' discovered his love for poker while completing his law degree. He has earned over $10m in tournament cashes online and live since he made the decision to pursue poker full time.

Niall Farrell has had a successful career in poker with multiple six-figure wins. In 2013, he began his journey when he competed in the 44th World Series of Poker. He finished in a respectable second place in the $3,000 No Limit Hold'em event. Two years later, he placed 8th in the $111,111 No Limit Hold'em High Roller for One Drop event. The following year, he added another win to his record by taking first place in the WSOP No Limit Hold'em - High Roller event. Throughout his career, Niall Farrell has consistently demonstrated his skill and competitiveness in the world of poker.

Firaldo is university educated and has a degree in Law. He has finished in the money at poker tournaments in 19 different countries. He has lived in Scotland, Canada and briefly in America. His current goal in poker is to win the WSOP Main Event, then spend the entire following summer playing exclusively $250 daily deepstacks.

Firaldo is known for his unique style of play, having once spammed the "goodbye" emoji to an opponent whilst in an all in pot. He also owns a cult twitch stream which spawned over COVID lockdown. Firaldo is also a great karaoke singer, and has a passion for music and singing. He learned to play poker by watching late night poker on UK TV.

One of his most incredible accomplishments is he is one of only 9 triple crown winners in poker history, having won an EPT, WPT and WSOP event.

Born April 6, 1982, in Colorado, Steve O’Dwyer got into poker after seeing Chris Moneymaker win the 2003 World Series of Poker (WSOP). A Bachelor of Science in Communications graduate from East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina, O’Dwyer worked briefly in broadcasting before making a career for himself in the poker world.

O’Dwyer, who is friends with fellow poker pros Scott Seiver and Isaac Haxton, had more than $31.5 million in lifetime earnings (as of summer 2022) dating back to 2007 according to The Hendon Mob. That includes a career-best of $1,872,580 for winning the 2015 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) $100,000 Super High Roller.

He also has five other seven-figure scores including $1,811,638 for winning the 2014 APPT Macau Super High Roller; $1,604,972 for taking down the 2013 European Poker Tour (EPT) Monte Carlo Grand Final Main Event; $1,520,565 for placing second in the 2017 APPT Macau Super High Roller; $1,300,000 for taking second in the 2018 partypoker LIVE MILLIONS; and $1,088,783 for winning the 2017 PokerStars Championship Macau Super High Roller.

O’Dwyer, who now calls Ireland home, has also appeared at three final tables on the World Poker Tour (WPT) finishing sixth in the 2009 WPT Doyle Brunson Five Diamond World Poker Classic for $202,362; fifth in the 2012 WPT World Championship for $192,176; and runner-up in the 2011 WPT Venice for $125,740.

O’Dwyer is known for winning tournaments in countries all across the country, and in June 2022 added Spain to the list when he emerged victorious in the partypoker LIVE MILLIONS Europe Main Event in Barcelona, good for a €250,000 top prize.

Jennifer Shahade grew up in a family of gamers. Her brother is IM Greg Shahade is founder of the PRO Chess League and the US Chess School, while her mother, Dr. Sally Solomon (1940-2013), was an avid bridge and poker player. Her father, FM Michael Shahade is a four-time state champion and taught her chess at five. Jennifer did not take to the game right away, gravitating instead to acting and writing. When she got back into it in high school, she fell in love and quickly improved, becoming a National Master at the age of 16, and the first female to win the US Junior Open. She went on to win two US Chess Women’s Championship titles and a Silver Olympic medal.
