Joy believes that parents have the biggest influence on their children's faith and life, and that playful discipleship is key to nurturing a joyful, abundant faith in children. Joy runs a podcast called Playfully Faithful Parenting and offers coaching services through the website createdtoplay.com.

Joy emphasizes the importance of incorporating play into daily routines, even in short bursts of time, to inspire children to take ownership of their faith journey.
